GLOBAL NAVAL STRIKE FORCE

INTELLIGENCE DEPARTMENT COMMUNIQUÉ

March 10 2009 - Director of Intelligence, GNSF HQ

Mystery Cargo is Gone

To: Fleet Admiral Stern
Admiral Wallbanger

Sirs :

We just received the latest reconnaissance pictures from the last satellite past over the docks at Tumaco, and the cargo is gone. We have checked several shots and it looks like the entire thing is gone, with the exception of the 12 crates that were sitting to one side. It seems there are now 8 crates left and the Military seem to be arming from them. We are unsure what happened to the cargo on the docks, only that there is no evidence it was even there. This indicates they didn’t open or take any of it.

Sir\'s, this is not a good situation at all, as while the cargo going missing is a mystery, the timing is just to coincidental. With the three satellites we had covering the area, the average gap between them was about 2 hours, but due to their orbits, one pass brought all three together, creating a onetime gap of about 15 hours. I find it to coincidental that the cargo picked this particular time to vanish, indicating to me who ever took it knew about the surveillance gap.

This creates a huge concern, as the only people that would have know this are a few operators and the central command in the US. I must conclude that either the US was involved with that shipment somehow, or their security has been breached by whoever did receive the cargo. We are having the satellites repositioned to search all around the docks for any convoy, as there is no way they could have gotten far. Our calculations show they could have loaded the whole shipment in about 11 hours best. This would give them a 3 hour head start, not enough to get very far.

We have been closely watching Cartagena, and it seems that city now totally belongs to the Cartel. Not a lot is happening there, which leads me to believe they don’t even know about that shipment..

I will keep you informed of the situation in Cartagena. Sirs, in light of the current situation, I must strongly recommend that any information we get from our sources be kept strictly confidential, and if we ever decide to take any actions, they must be absolutely cover. We must assume that the US has been compromised or is a player in this, and as such, we must keep as distant from this situation as possible.
