GLOBAL NAVAL STRIKE FORCE

INTELLIGENCE DEPARTMENT COMMUNIQUÉ

March 06 2009 - Director of Intelligence, GNSF HQ

Financial Bail Out of Columbian Military

To: Fleet Admiral Stern
Admiral Wallbanger

Sirs:

It seems that we have encountered a couple of strange twists in Columbia. It appears that the Columbian Military has received a very large cash influx from an unknown source. We have checked with agents and contacts in the larger countries, but it looks like none of them are involved. The US claims that while they considered it, it was not them. Russia we don’t believe could if they even wanted to, and many other countries either don’t care or support the drug cartels entrepreneurial spirit.

Something else we noticed is that the Columbian Military received a huge shipment from 6 Russian freighters. Our sources in Russia indicate this huge shipment was paid for by the Columbians, and contain all sorts of supplies, mostly military equipment. When our diplomat pressed the Russians, they were told they were paid for the goods, and that’s that.

The thing that puzzles us, is that for the last 2 days, the entire shipment, still crated, is sitting on the docks at Tumaco, with about 90% of the Military guarding it. We have currently managed to get the US to redirect 3 satellites to keep the area under surveillance.

I will keep you informed.
