INTELLIGENCE DEPARTMENT COMMUNIQUÉ
 | | March 01 2009 - Director of Intelligence, GNSF HQ Economic Problems in Columbia To: Fleet Admiral Stern
Admiral Wallbanger
Sirs:
It seems that while monitoring the situation in Columbia, we have uncovered some troubling news. It seems with the increased power of the Cartel, the government has been quickly running out of resources. There are rumors that the military are suffering with a sever lack of funds, making it very hard for them to help in this battle.
We have been in contact with a few of our operatives there, and they will try to dig a little deeper into this. If the military there collapses it would give free rein to the drug cartel, which would inevitably draw the US into the conflict.
I will keep you informed.
