GNSF WAR ROE PREFACE | | In addition to the normal GNSF ROE that are always in place, a War requires special rules to be put in place to allow the War to run smoothly, and account for play that is specialized to War combat. Since Each War set up is usually different from the previous War, this WAR ROE page will deal specifically with the War being played at the time. For this reason this page will always bear the NAME of the War being implemented to which these rules apply. Please note that the normal GNSF ROE are always in effect during War games, unless specifically stated otherwise in this section. This section details only the rules that are specific to the War Games being played, and those that may change current normal rules of game play. If not specifically detailed in the WAR ROE, the normal GNSF ROE shall apply. |
GROUND SPECIFIC ROE | Game Times:
All games shall be set for a maximum of one hour. Any game that automatically ends at this mark will be evaluated for mission status and possible POWs.
Reporting:
GR players are required to take one extra step when reporting their mission. Once the players are all in the game waiting room and ready to begin, they MUST take a screen shot of the SOLDIER they have chosen for the mission. This is because while we have several types of soldiers, the after action screen shot shows ONLY the four primary types (ie Rifleman, DTD Rifleman and CQB ALL show as Rifleman). This way it can be confirmed WHAT soldier you used in the game. This screen shot MUST be sent to the WAR Controler (FADM) after each mission for the game to be considered valid.
POW:
In games with a pre-determined extraction point, any player not at this specified point at game end (automatic end at the 1 hour mark) will be considered captured and a POW. Confirmation of reaching the extraction point must be shown with a screenshot, with failure to provide a screen shot being taken as a capture. In games without a pre-determined extraction point, ANY player left alive on the map when the game automatically ends at the 1 hour mark will be considered captured and a POW. In these games, to prevent this, the player must complete the task so the game terminates BEFORE the auto-end at the 1 hour mark.
Rescued:
A player becomes rescued if he is listed as a POW, and a special 'rescue mission' is played by other players (he can also play if he has another life left) AND is successful in the rescue. If the rescue mission fails, or the POW is killed, then that POW life is lost. If the mission is successful then the player will have that life placed on hold for 2 days and then returned for use.
Soldier Type 'A':
With the inclusion of the frostbite map pack for this war, a few extra soldier types have become available in the game. These are soldiers listed with an 'A' infront of the name (ie. A Sniper) These soldier types CAN NOT be used in any war game, and as such are NOT listed on the available invetory list. Any player using this type will cause their side to forfiet the game and all points, and loose a life.
